AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health by engaging in the following core strategies: funding scientific research, educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention, advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention, & supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide in our mission.
Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it’s time to take action against cancer.

Sandy Springs Education Force designs and implements free supplemental programs to engage, support and encourage our economically disadvantaged public school students to excel academically, finish high school and then continue to a vocation or to college. While SSEF sponsored programs are focused on the economically disadvantaged student, SSEF does not discriminate; any student may participate – however, a small fee is sometimes required.
